2017 Fitness Classes

As part of the Pride In Wellness program, commit to exercise or physical activity at least twice a week and you can earn 5 WellCREDITS for every 30 minutes of physical activity you complete; 150 Maximum per 6 month period. Find out more details on our GET STARTED page. Bradenton Classes


​Yoga Plus - Offered through Pride In Wellness,this class incorporates a variety of the most popular yoga PLUS some Pilates movements: power yoga, vinyasa flow, restorative yoga, healthy back yoga, Pilates mat and standing. This class is designed to help you improve your flexibility, strength, balance, coordination, and reduce the impact of stress on your body. Taught on Bradenton Campus, Mondays & Thursdays 5-6 PM (Library Rm 8-229 Upstairs) with Laura. Classes start week of August 28 - December 1 (No classes Thanksgiving Week).


ZUMBA - Offered through Pride In Wellness, a fun, Latin-inspired calorie torching, fat-burning cardiovascular exercise class without complex choreographies. This class will enhance your balance and flexibility, increase your stamina and muscle tone, and help you lose weight all while having fun with friends. Ditch the workout, join the party! Taught on Bradenton Campus, Tuesdays 5-6 PM with NEW INSTRUCTOR Pati, Collegiate School. Classes start week of August 28 - December 1 (No classes Thanksgiving Week).


Boot Camp - Offered through Pride In Wellness, get in shape “boot camp” style! Experience full-body workouts that target the major muscle groups of the upper & lower body. From circuit-style routines that jump-start cardio fitness, to creative muscle-toning exercises using dumbbells, exercise bands, or even the participant’s body weight, each class brings its own unique challenges. No two classes are the same! Helps to improve cardiovascular stamina, core strength, & flexibility. Taught on Bradenton Campus, Collegiate School, Wednesdays at 5-6 PM with NEW INSTRUCTOR. Classes start week of August 23 - December 6 (No classes Thanksgiving Week).


Venice Classes​


Total Body - Offered through Pride In Wellness, a full body workout with resistance bands and weights. This class will help you gain muscle, tone and sweat some calories. Taught on Venice Campus, NEW TIME Tuesdays 4:30-5:30 PM with Virginie, Selby 802/812 & 801/811. Classes start week of August 28 - December 1 (No classes Thanksgiving Week).

Lakewood Ranch Classes​



Stretch, Sculpt, & Tone - Offered through Pride In Wellness, want to get a full body workout at increasing intensities? This class starts out with 20 minutes of yoga-based stretching, followed by 20 minutes of Pilates-styled sculpting movements, and ends with 20 minutes of higher intensity toning exercises. There is a little bit of everything for everyone! Taught at TRY-FUN Fitness and Training for LWR Campus, Thursdays from 5-6 pm with Vikki at 6972 Professional Parkway East, Sarasota, FL, United States.
